PTRCB Staff Working Remotely:   In response to the evolving COVID-19 public health situation, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and PTRCB  has decided to increase remote working and social distancing.   Staff is checking voice mail and can easily be reached through email.

March 30, 2020 Board meeting CANCELLED:

As a result of COVID-19, and the efforts to minimize the potential for exposure to, and the spread of the virus, the March 30, 2020 meeting of the Petroleum Tank Release Compensation Board has been cancelled.  Based on the latest guidance from the Governor's office, the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, we believe it is sensible to cancel the Board meeting as a basic preventive action to help prevent the spread of viruses.  The staff are currently taking steps towards moving any disputed issues to the June 8, 2020 meeting agenda.  We recognize that there are a number of Board action items that are essential for continuity of business, summer field activities and timely reimbursement, which can be handled via teleconference.  The Board is considering the establishment of a teleconference Board meeting, however, it is important to allow time for virus mitigation strategies to be implemented.  If an interim meeting is established, a notice will be placed on the website as early as possible.
