Cleanup | Draft Environmental Assessment Red Lodge East Bench Mine | Public Comment Period Ends April 10, 2023

The Red Lodge East Bench Mine Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) will be available for public comment from March 9, 2023, to April 10, 2023. The Draft Environmental Assessment is available at the link below and in hard copy at the Carbon County Administration Building (17 West 11th Street) and Red Lodge Carnegie Library (38th Street West).

The Department of Environmental Quality Abandoned Mine Lands Program (AML) will hold an informational meeting regarding the Red Lodge East Bench Mine Environmental Assessment on March 30, 2023. The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Carbon County Historical Society & Museum and online. The AML Program will discuss reclamation alternatives for Red Lodge East Bench Mine. Written comments on the Red Lodge East Bench Mine Environmental Assessment will be accepted until April 10, 2023.
