Water Quality | Ammonia Toxicity Assessment Method | Public Notice Ends January 13, 2026
The Department of Environmental Quality has prepared a final Ammonia Toxicity Assessment Method. The comment period for the draft Ammonia Toxicity Assessment Method opened on August 5, 2024, and closed on October 6, 2024. During the comment period DEQ received 85 submissions with comments covering several topics. DEQ read, summarized, combined, and considered the substantive elements from the comments. All responses can be found in the Response to Draft Ammonia Toxicity AM Public Comments document associated with this public notice.
