Water Quality| Rule Adoption Notice Regarding MAR Notice 2026-496.2
DEQ has adopted changes to Department Circular DEQ-7, Montana Numeric Water Quality Standards. The department also adopted changes to Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM) to update citations to Circular DEQ-7 to reflect the edition that is effective following adoption of these amendments. This rulemaking action includes amendments to ten rules: ARM 17.24.645, ARM 17.24.646, ARM 17.30.502, ARM 17.30.619, ARM 17.30.702, ARM 17.30.1001, ARM 17.36.126, ARM 17.55.109, ARM 17.56.507, and ARM 17.56.608.
The effective date of this change is September 26, 2026.
