Montana Department of Environmental Quality’s Waste Management and Remediation Division is pleased to release a Draft Final February 2024 Risk-based Corrective Action (RBCA) Guidance for Petroleum Releases.

The February 2024 RBCA guidance document will be allowed for use at Petroleum Release Sites once the RBCA reference is updated in rule. The “Incorporation by Reference Rulemaking”, MAR – 17-438, that proposes to update the RBCA guidance to the February 2024 version is currently in progress and expected to be final in May 2024.
