Waste Management Bureau | Scenic City Enterprises Septage Land Application Site Final Environmental Assessment | Three Forks, MT
To comply with the Montana Environmental Policy Act, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) prepared a final environmental assessment (Final EA) regarding the land application of septage in Three Forks, Montana.
The proposal includes the land application of septage on approximately 540 acres of private land located on the Flikkema LeFebre Ranches Property, at Sections 5, 15, and 22, Township 3 North, Range 1 East, Broadwater County, Montana.
The public comment period on the draft environmental assessment started on April 7, 2025, and ended on May 5, 2025. DEQ received no comments on the Proposed Action.
The land application site is approved.
