Waste Management Bureau | Mon-Dak Construction Supply Septage Land Application Site Final Environmental Assessment | Glendive, MT
To comply with the Montana Environmental Policy Act, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) prepared a final environmental assessment (Final EA) regarding the land application of septage in Glendive, Montana.
The proposal includes the land application of septage on approximately 80 acres of private land located on the Ekland Property, at Section 24, Township 17 North, Range 53 East, Dawson County, Montana.
The public comment period on the draft environmental assessment started on October 17, 2025, and ended on November 17, 2025. DEQ received one comment on the Proposed Action. The response to the comment can be found in Section 9 of the Final EA.
The land application site is approved.
