Methamphetamine and Fentanyl Cleanup Program | Rule adoption notice regarding MAR Notice 2026-362
DEQ has amended Title 17, chapter 74 of the Administrative Rules of Montana, pertaining to Title 75, chapter 10, part 13 Methamphetamine or Fentanyl Contamination – Indoor Property Decontamination Standards, Montana Code Annotated.
On March 20, 2026, the Department of Environmental Quality published MAR Notice No. 2026-362.1 pertaining to the public hearing on April 13, 2026, for the proposed amendment of the above-stated rules.
The department has amended 17.74.515 and 17.74.519 with changes and adopted all other rules as proposed.
The effective date of this change will be August 8, 2026.
