Waste Management | Grizzly Disposal and Recycling Transfer Station Draft Environmental Assessment | Missoula, Montana | Comment Period Ends October 20, 2025
To comply with the Montana Environmental Policy Act, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) prepared a draft environmental assessment (Draft EA) regarding the proposed Grizzly Disposal and Recycling transfer station in Missoula, MT. The proposal includes approximately 7 acres of property located at 9730 Derby Dr. The proposed transfer station would serve Grizzly Disposal and Recycling trash collection services as well as the public in the Missoula area.
The purpose of the Draft EA is to inform the public of the proposed action and to seek participation in the decision-making process.
