To comply with the Montana Environmental Policy Act, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) prepared a draft environmental assessment (Draft EA) regarding a proposed Junk Vehicle County Graveyard (JVCG) in Yellowstone County, Montana. 

The proposed JVCG will be in Yellowstone County, within a fenced area at 3324 King Ave E., Billings, Montana. The property is owned by Yellowstone County and will be used by the Yellowstone County Junk Vehicle Program. The legal description of the facility is, S15, T01 S, R26 E, C.O.S. 1334, PARCEL 1 (LESS TR1A COS 134 1ST AMD) 9.1 AC.  The applicant is applying to license approximately three acres of the 9.1-acre parcel.

The purpose of the Draft EA is to inform the public of the proposed action and to seek participation in the decision-making process.
