Water Quality | Water Quality Standards Triennial Review | Comment Period Ends June 10, 2026 | Public Hearing June 10, 2026
Montana’s Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is accepting public comments and holding a public hearing to solicit suggestions for potential revisions to water quality standards. The triennial review of water quality standards is required by the Montana Water Quality Act and Federal Clean Water Act.
Comments should identify the water quality standard at issue, any suggested revision to the standard, and the basis for the suggested revision, including technical information.
