An application for the licensing of a motor vehicle wrecking facility has been submitted to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, Motor Vehicle Recycling & Disposal Program, PO Box 200901, Helena, MT 59620-0901, for review. The name and address of the applicant follow:

The current MVWF in Yellowstone County needs to modify the existing boundaries of their license due to an MDT roadway project in the area. Currently, they are licensed to operate a wrecking facility on 8.46 acres at their current site. MDT is planning to acquire 1.68 acres of the property for a roadway project.  The Truck Shop of Billings Inc. is planning to add a 2.876-acre parcel to their wrecking facility boundary. The legal description of the 2.876-acre expansion is G2 SUBDIVISION, S20, T01 N, R27 E, BLOCK1, Lot 2, (20).

The purpose of this notice is to disclose to the public receipt of the application and the proposed location.  An environmental assessment may be published, and public comment may be solicited at that point.
