To comply with the Montana Environmental Policy Act, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) prepared a draft environmental assessment (Draft EA) regarding the land application of septage in Three Forks, Montana.

The proposal includes the land application of septage on approximately 540 acres of private land located on the Flikkema LeFebre Ranches Property, at Sections 5, 15, and 22, Township 3 North, Range 1 East, Broadwater County, Montana.

The purpose of the Draft EA is to inform the public of the proposed action and to seek participation in the decision-making process.
