The renewal of this General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated With Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) will provide a continued permitting mechanism for small MS4s in Montana who discharge, or have the potential to discharge, stormwater into state waters. The MS4 General Permit is designed to manage stormwater runoff and protect receiving water quality. The renewal is for a five-year cycle.
