Waste Management Bureau | Lehman Septic Services Land Application Site Draft Environmental Assessment | Wilsall, MT | Comment Period Ends September 13, 2026
To comply with the Montana Environmental Policy Act, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) prepared a draft environmental assessment (Draft EA) regarding the proposed Lehman Septic Services land application site in Wilsall, Montana.
The proposal includes land application of septage on approximately 120 acres of private property located at Section 7, Township 2 North, Range 9 East, in Park County approximately three miles south of Wilsall, Montana, off Highway 89.
The purpose of the Draft EA is to inform the public of the proposed action and to seek participation in the decision-making process.
