An application for the licensing of a motor vehicle wrecking facility has been submitted to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, Motor Vehicle Recycling & Disposal Program, for review.

The proposed MVWF will be in Jefferson County, within a fenced area at 153 Whitetail Rd., Whitehall, Montana. The property is owned by William Bowen. The legal description of the facility is, S28, T02 N, R04 W, C.O.S. 229858 F779A, PARCEL C2 in E2SW4.  The applicant is applying to license the entire 5.53-acre parcel.

The purpose of this notice is to disclose to the public receipt of the application and the proposed location.  An environmental assessment may be published, and public comment may be solicited at that point.
