DEQ Determination of Date of Cessation of Mining at Opencut Permit #2972, Coulson Site

 

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) received information stating that mining activities ceased at the Coulson site on May 16, 2024. The Coulson site has been mined under Opencut Permit #2972 and is located in Yellowstone County in Sections 7, 8, 17, and 18, T1N, R27E.

 

DEQ previously requested comment from any party with contrary information and received no comments. DEQ has determined that mining ceased at the Coulson site on May 16, 2024.
