Air Quality | Western Sugar Cooperative| Public Comment Period Ends July 31, 2025

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality is inviting public comment on the proposed modification of a 1998 Stipulation Agreement between The Western Sugar Cooperative – Billings facility, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and DEQ related to attainment of the 1971 National Ambient Air Quality Standards for sulfur dioxide (SO₂) in the Billings/Laurel area.
