Air Quality | CHS Inc - Laurel Refinery| Public Comment Period Ends March 30, 2026
The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has prepared a Preliminary Determination (PD) for Montana Air Quality Permit #1821-47, for CHS Inc.-Laurel Refinery.
A Draft Environmental Assessment (Draft EA) analyzing potential impacts of the proposed permit action on the affected human environment has also been prepared and is attached to the PD. This PD, and associated Draft EA, are issued by DEQ pursuant to §§ 75-1-101, et. seq, and 75-2-201, et. seq, Montana Code Annotated.
