Air Quality | Bull Mountain Coal Mine| Public Comment Period Ends December 17, 2025
The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has prepared a Preliminary Determination (PD) for Montana Air Quality Permit #3179-13, for Signal Peak Energy, LLC. - Bull Mountain Mine.
A Draft Environmental Assessment (Draft EA) analyzing potential impacts of the proposed permit action on the affected human environment has also been prepared and is attached to the PD. This PD, and associated Draft EA, are issued by DEQ pursuant to §§ 75-1-101, et. seq, and 75-2-201, et. seq, Montana Code Annotated.
