We have redesigned the PTRCB navigational bar. The redesign is intended to make it easier to navigate our website and to include a few new pages to help inform our audience about our program. No links were removed; however some have been repositioned.
New Board Members:
Mr. Jerry Breen was reappointed to serve a term ending July 1, 2019. Mr. Breen fulfills the qualifications of Representative of Independent Petroleum Marketers and Chain Retailers, and was also recently elected to be Presiding Officer to the Board.
Mr. Keith Schnider was reappointed to serve a term ending July 1, 2019. Mr. Schnider fulfills the qualifications of Insurance Industry Representative and was also recently elected to be Vice Presiding Officer.
Mr. Mark Johnson was appointed, in October of 2016, to serve a term ending July 1, 2019. Mr. Johnson fulfills the qualifications of Representative of the Consultant Industry and replaces the vacated term of Mr. Roger Noble.
The Board and staff express their appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Noble for his service as a member of the Board. Mr. Noble was appointed to the Board in 2004. He served as Vice-Presiding Officer in the years 2006 through 2009, and as Presiding Officer in the years 2010 through 2016.

The Board administers the Petroleum Tank Release Cleanup Fund, providing adequate financial resources and effective procedures through which tank owners and operators may undertake, and be reimbursed for, cleanup of petroleum contamination and payment to third parties for damages caused by releases from petroleum storage tanks, among other duties.
Current Board Opening: Representative from the Financial/Banking Industry, small bus/property loans.

New Task List:
We have updated our list of Standard Corrective Action Task Names, which the Board requests, to be used when describing tasks pertaining to Corrective Action Plans (CAPS) that are submitted to the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and when claims for reimbursement are submitted to the Petroleum Tank Release Compensation Board (PTRCB) staff.
