DEQ is pleased to release its report on the development of numeric nutrient standards for the lower Yellowstone River. The report describes methods and approaches DEQ used to derive the criteria using the water quality simulation model QUAL2K. The Executive Summary gives an overview of the process and the results if that is all that you are interested in. Technical appendices associated with the report may be found below, as well as the native text files needed to run the model built by DEQ.
