PTRCB Claim Preparation Costs
Reimbursement Policy
Effective: August 1, 1999
Presiding Officer: Tim Hornbacher
Purpose: To establish guidelines to be followed by Board staff pertaining to reimbursement of Petroleum Tank Release Compensation claim preparation costs.
The Board determined on June 7, 1999, that effective August 1, 1999, the Petroleum Tank Release Compensation Fund will no longer reimburse any costs associated with the preparation and submittal of claims to DEQ and the Board.
The costs for preparation, submittal and substantiating of claims includes, but is not limited to:
- Labor hours spent in preparation;
- Labor hours spent reviewing;
- Postage or shipping costs; and
- Copy costs.
(This policy repeals and replaces paragraph 1 of The Petroleum Tank Release Compensation Board Submittal Cost Policy (January 28, 1991.)
