Public Water Supply Queries 

Montana Drinking Water Watch (MT DWW) allows direct public access to a wide range of public water supply system information. This information is drawn directly from Montana's Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS/MT). It is real-time, meaning the information presented is current in the database as of the time the request is made.

Source Water Protection Query System Source Water Protection Query System
The Source Water Protection Program (SWPP) Query System makes it easy to access source water assessment reports, plot a public water supply (PWS) on a map, or display information that exists in an area surrounding a PWS well. More than twenty data sets can be accessed through the SWPP Query System. The system was originally developed to help evaluate each PWS's susceptibility to potential contaminant sources. However, it is a useful tool for displaying information that can help answer a wide range of questions related to land and water resources.

DEQ Web Cam Air Quality Conditions Web Cam
This web cam is used primarily as an indicator of air quality conditions in Helena. It faces towards the Sleeping Giant Mountain which is 22 miles north of the Metcalf Building.
When the Giant is clearly visible, the air quality in the Helena Valley is good to excellent.

The Clark Fork River Operable Unit (CFR OU) is part of the Milltown Reservoir/Clark Fork River Superfund Site. The CFR OU includes the Clark Fork River from its headwaters near Warm Springs Creek to Milltown Reservoir, just east of Missoula. The Clark Fork River Operable Unit (CFR OU) interactive web mapping application lets you view developments within the Operable Unit.
Keystone XL Pipeline Keystone XL Pipeline Map
TransCanada Keystone Pipeline, L.P. (Keystone) has submitted a Major Facility Siting Act (MFSA) application to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to construct and operate a 36-inch-diameter crude oil pipeline. As proposed, the pipeline would start at Hardisty, Alberta, and cross the U.S./Canada border near Morgan, Montana, and continue in a southeast direction through Montana and exit the state of Montana and continue on through South Dakota and terminate at Steele City, Nebraska. The map shows the Applicant's preferred route and two alternatives in Montana.

On August 11, 2010 Montana Alberta Tie Ltd. and MATL LLP, co-permittees for the Montana Alberta Tie Transmission Line, submitted an application to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) for an amendment to the Certificate of Compliance issued for the Montana portion of a 230-kV transmission line between Great Falls, Montana and a substation near Lethbridge, Alberta. The map (Wetlands Mapping Available To-date) indicates the Approved Location which is generally 250 feet on either side of a referenced centerline.
