The data available here were collected by DEQ or by other parties, sometimes in cooperation with DEQ. The zip files contain all the information DEQ has about the site. Questions should be sent to Paul Cartwright or call 406-841-5234.

This file has site name, nearest town, coordinates, tower height, start and stop of data collection, percent of data recovered, percent of observations used by DEQ in its analysis, and average speed (from highest anemometer in the case of towers with multiple instruments).This file was last updated 9-30-11.

Wind Monitoring Sites
Each zip file contains text data files, NRG raw data files where available, summary information on the site description and quality control, WindPRO summary analysis of speed and direction, pictures if available, and other reports if available.
- To open and extract files: click link and select "Open" to open "WinZip" window; then click "Extract" on the menu bar and select a location on your desktop to download the files to.
- To save the "zip" file to your desktop, click the link and select "Save" then select a location on your desktop to save the "zip" file to.
