REAP Deadline Extension
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) is allocated $60 million through the 2008 Farm Bill for energy projects in rural areas. The program offers both loan guarantees and grants for projects that include solar panels, anaerobic digesters, energy audits, and many opportunities with renewable energy. Contact your nearest USDA Rural Development Office to learn how to apply or follow the link for the Renewable Energy System and Energy Efficiency Guaranteed Loan and Grant Program. The Energy Audit and Renewable Energy Development Assistance Grant may also be accessed. A Feasibility Grant Program is also available. The applications deadline has been extended to May 31, 2013.
