#1 & #2 Plastic Bottles can be recycled at Wal-Mart and at S.A.V.E. plastic collection drives.  Go to savemoblile.org for more information

Plastic Shopping Bags are collected for recycling at: Wal-Mart, Albertsons, Safeway, and most other grocery stores. 

Electronics can be recycled for a fee of $10.00 per item at all Staples stores, and at annual E-waste collection events. Visit the calendar of events for more information.

Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs can be recycled year round at Home Depot and at Ace Hardware until Dec. 2008.

Rechargeable Batteries and Cell Phones can be recycled at RadioShack, King’s Hobbies, Rock Hand Hardware, Capital Communications, Lowe’s, Fastenal, Office Depot, Home Depot, Verizon Wireless, and Staples.

Car Batteries can be recycled at Wal-Mart and Checker Auto Parts.

Used Motor Oil  can be recycled at AutoZone, Eagle Tire Lube Express, Wal-mart Tire and Lube Express Center.

Pacific Recycling (442-7851) also accepts all metal, scrap iron, tin, aluminum (all types),  copper, insulated copper, brass, lead, catalytic converters, electric motors, white goods (refrigerators must have Freon removed), and automobiles (call for details).
