Riverside Mobile Home Park Resolves Public Water Supply Violations

Helena — The Montana Department of Environmental Quality reports that RTP Management, LLC has resolved violations of the Montana Public Water Supply Laws at the public water supply system serving Riverside Mobile Home Park in Columbia Falls.

According to DEQ Case Manager Mike Rieger, RTP failed to monitor the system for asbestos during the 2011-2013 compliance period and failed to submit a copy of the results to the department.

To resolve the matter, DEQ and RTP entered into a consent order under which RTP agreed to monitor the system for asbestos and pay an administrative penalty. RTP submitted the required documentation and paid the penalty. The test results indicate that no asbestos was detected.
