DEQ to hold public meeting in Missoula on draft asbestos rule changes

HELENA – The Montana Department of Environmental Quality is hosting a public meeting in Missoula Wednesday, March 20, on revisions to the Asbestos Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM 17.74.350).

 

The rule changes are regarding fees for individuals who work in the asbestos abatement field. The meeting is an opportunity for those who work in the field to ask questions and provide comment on the draft proposed rule changes. Meetings also will be held in Great Falls and Billings. Watch for dates to be announced. Comments also may be submitted to: deqwutbcomments@mt.gov

 

The draft proposed rule changes are available for review at: deq.mt.gov/Public/asbestos/ACPRules
