DEQ to hold public meeting in Great Falls on draft asbestos fee rule changes
HELENA – The Montana Department of Environmental Quality is hosting a public meeting in Great Falls on Tuesday, April 23, on revisions to the Asbestos Administrative Rules of Montana, Title 17, Chapter 74, Subchapters 3 and 4.
The rule changes regard fees for the issuance of asbestos project permits, accreditations, inspections and course reviews/approvals. The meeting is an opportunity for those who will be impacted by the changes to ask questions and provide comment on the draft proposed rule changes. A similar meeting was held in March in Missoula, and a third meeting will be scheduled in Billings.
