Many resources exist for teachers wishing to discuss and encourage recycling. The nonprofit, Recycle Montana, advocates for increased recycling and sponsors a classroom education program. You may contact Recycle Montana at 406-461-9106 or www,recyclemontana.org to request a recycling education program for your classroom.

Clean Air Zone Montana
This program discourages school bus idling to reduce diesel exhaust exposure for children. The program also encourages use of alternative fuels in school buses. Sign up your school now to receive assistance!

Elmer’s Glue Crew Recycling Program for Schools
Elmer’s is the first glue manufacturer to offer a recycling program for the bottles and glue sticks they produce. In addition to cash prizes and convenient drop-off at your local Wal-Mart, this program offers great lesson plans and suggestions for recruiting students, teachers and parents to help out.
