Small Business Vouchers Pilot

Launched by the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Office (EERE), the Small Business Voucher (SBV) Pilot will match selected clean energy small businesses with experts from the national labs — and give the businesses vouchers valued at $50,000 to $300,000 that they can exchange for national lab technical assistance.

New EPA Standards for Residential Wood Stoves

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has strengthened its New Source Performance Standards for residential wood heaters to make new appliances burn cleaner. The updates are based on improved technologies and establish new federal air standards for several types of previously unregulated new wood heaters, including outdoor freestanding units. The rule does not affect existing woodstoves.
