Major Pipeline Crossings of Navigable Streams in Montana

To meet the requirements of SB 368 as passed by the 2015 Legislature, DEQ compiled this table listing crossings of navigable streams by major gas and hazardous liquid transmission pipelines throughout Montana. Compiled in December 2015 by DEQ staff, this data was provided in cooperation with the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, the Montana Petroleum Association, and the companies that own and/or operate the pipelines.

DEQ's Alternative Energy Loan Program

The purpose of DEQ's Alternative Energy Loan Program is to provide a financing option to homeowners, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and local governments to install these types of systems. The most commonly financed systems include: solar panels (photovoltaic and hot water); small wind generators; biomass (wood) heating appliances; and ground-source heat pump systems for space and water heating. The interest rate on loans for 2016 is expected to remain at 3.25 percent.
