Diamond Hill Mining resolves filing and monitoring violations

HELENA -- Diamond Hill Mining, Inc., failed to submit Annual Mine Reports and filing fees for calendar years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. The company further failed to conduct water quality monitoring and to submit water quality monitoring results for the years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 at the Diamond Hill Mine Site in Broadwater County, Montana.


Diamond Hill Mining, Inc., has agreed to pay a settlement penalty with the Department of Environmental Quality of $14,520 and to submit semi-annual water quality monitoring results and complete the Annual Mine Report for 2017 and 2018.
